Board President: Nichole Phillips
Nichole is one of the founding members of PAWDA, which was brought together from an idea to promote WD in PA and some great board members who all helped bring it together.l
Nichole started in WD with her PRE Rocky, who was a post deployment present to herself in 2018. She has trained him from 18 months old to the amazing partner he is now, a Level 2/3 Superstar!
Vice President Sarah Knop
Sarah has served on the board of PAWDA since its formation. She is passionate about education and helping people to do better by their horses.
Sarah started in western dressage in 2021 when she and her quarter horse mare Brandy were looking for something new to do together. They have shown western dressage through level 3 and recently have dabbled in classical dressage.
Secretary - Lauren Ostermiller
Lauren has over 30 years in the saddle starting with working cows on her family’s ranch starting at the age of 5. As a teenager, she started working with a classical dressage trainer to help her build a good foundation when starting her first colt. With a longing to get back to her western roots, she jumped at the chance to transition from classical dressage to weste
